We started from a call nobody answered
مقاول في شمال الرياض احتاج أربعين طنًا من الحصى قبل صبّة صباح الخميس. اتصل على تسعة موردين، ردّ عليه ثلاثة، والتزم واحد ولم يصل. الصبّة تأجلت أسبوعًا.
A contractor in north Riyadh needed forty tonnes of aggregate before a Thursday morning pour. He called nine suppliers, three answered, one committed and never turned up. The pour slipped by a week.

The problem was never the price
سوق مواد البناء في المملكة ليس فيه نقص مصانع ولا نقص مواد. فيه نقص معلومة: من عنده كمية اليوم، بكم، ومتى يقدر يوصلها فعلًا. هذه المعلومة موزعة على مئات المكالمات.
The Saudi materials market has no shortage of factories and no shortage of material. What it lacks is information: who holds stock today, at what rate, and when they can genuinely deliver. That information is scattered across hundreds of phone calls.

We built Ibni Sarhak to gather that information in one place and put a commitment behind it: if we say Wednesday at half past six, that is an appointment and not a hope.

A price, a lead time, a quantity. Any sentence without a figure in it gets cut from our site and from our quotes.
نقول المزعج
We say the awkward part
إذا الصنف غير متوفر نكتب غير متوفر. إذا التوصيل خمسة أيام لا نكتب سريع. أربع حمولات من كل مئة تتأخر، وهذا مكتوب في موقعنا.
If a line is out we write out of stock. If delivery is five days we do not write fast. Four loads in a hundred run late, and that sits on our own website.

A wrong load gets replaced at our cost, and chasing the factory is our job. A contractor should not have to pursue anyone.
